Up until today I have shared mostly known names in here. To find a way, my readers, also to some unknown waters of electronic music, I have chosen this name for you today – Rafael Cerato. Rafael, French native, has no problem with mixing more sub-genres of electronic into one another. In his sets you are able to hear pieces advancing from progressive house up to techno. One of his latest EPs called Sekater has received support from names like Solomun, Stephan Bodzin, Kölsch, Richie Hawtin or Maceo Plex.

The track Vertigo, which is part of already mentioned album Sekater, embodies quite calm, sporadically up melancholic, beginning. The drop which hits on within the first minute kills the entire serenity. Initially, I wasn’t capable of categorizing this kind of electronic music. After long exploration and discovering of other songs of the same genre I drew the conclusion – it is our beloved TECHNO.
